We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the Service:

• —Account data: email address, username, and hashed password.
• —Upload metadata: file names, sizes, upload timestamps, and access-control settings.
• —Usage data: pages visited, feature interactions, and IP address for security purposes.
• —Billing data: managed entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve the Service, to communicate with you about your account, and to fulfil legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, build advertising profiles, or share your data with third-party marketers.

Encrypted files are stored on third-party infrastructure (ap-files.com). Encryption keys are generated client-side and are never transmitted to or stored by ViewSilo servers unless you explicitly use server-managed keys as part of a team workspace plan.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data and files are removed within 30 days, subject to legal hold requirements.

We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Under GDPR and UK data protection law you have the right to:
